Pipe Plant from Sasha Aleksandrov on Vimeo.
This is a Time-Lapse video of the colorful repainting of the Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works, a sprawling Soviet era pipe manufacturing plant in Pervouralsk, Russia. By Moscow-based filmmaker Sasha Aleksandrov, who shot everything by hand over a period of two months without the use of a steadicam or camera track slider&em;meaning he would move the camera and tripod every few feet, capture some footage, repeat 50 times, then used software to stabilize the final shots.

INSA “Girls on Bikes” Ongoing Installation

In this set of photographic works INSA orchestrates a conflicting dialogue between all the elements and explicitly subordinates the value of his own street art to both the possessed object of the bike and the overtly sexualized female presence. Thus questioning our individual perceptions of ownership of public space, of sexuality and of belongings.

“The photo above was taken in Room 233 at the Comfort Inn on 90 Maine Mall Road in South Portland ME.
It is the same room where the terrorists of September 11th stayed before attacking the World Trade Center.
This graffiti is visible only under UV light.” – Zevs
